A week-end in Oulu

I have visited the city of Oulu during one week-end at the end of January with 10 others exchanges students. Oulu is located about two hours from Kajaani by train, on the seaside. It is the most populous city in Northern Finland and the fourth most populous city in the country. There are 203 762 inhabitants.

We rented an apartment in the city centre next to the train station (through Airbnb) so it was very easy to visit. We were able to admire the sea which was completely frozen and we saw a hockey match in Oulu arena. Oulu Hockey team is the best team in the country ( it's like the Ligue 1 for the football in France). On sunday evening, we ate in a typical restaurant and so I could test the reindeer and it was very nice.
It was a really good week-end, it felt like holidays and it was cool to see something else than Kajaani.
